The ringing of bells and cheers from dozens of people at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve on January 12th made everyone momentarily forget about the rain that had poured over Singapore all day. Armed with umbrellas and waterproof jackets, MTB enthusiasts eagerly supported their favorites at the Singapore Open Enduro (SOE) 2025. Rodalink was proud to take part as the title sponsor of this vibrant local enduro event!
A Blend of Challenge and Fun
There’s no better way to kick off the year than by joining an event with the community. Staying true to its inclusive spirit, this year’s Singapore Open Enduro welcomed more than 100 participants across various categories. Notably, SOE 2025 introduced a new segment for children aged 7–12, aptly named “Kid-duro.”
As parents eagerly waited for the flag-off, phones were ready to capture every moment. Participants in the Kid-duro segment were required to wear full-face helmets and navigated a 5 km course featuring three stages.

Meanwhile, competitors in the main Enduro Race faced one prologue stage and five race stages spread across Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and Chestnut Nature Park. Riders were challenged by single tracks, rocky paths, muddy trails, and steep sections, covering a total distance of 15 km.
One of the most popular viewing spots was the “Seven Drops” section. As its name suggests, this area demanded a mix of skill and precision to conquer the descents and drops. Bike control and line selection were critical, and every rider’s attempt was met with cheers and encouragement. Some spectators even came equipped with cameras to capture the action. The energy here was a testament to the close-knit MTB community and its unwavering support.
Introducing Schwalbe’s New Radial Carcass Technology
Bringing innovation closer to the community, Rodalink introduced Schwalbe’s latest tires featuring Radial Carcass technology. As the winner of the Pink Bike Awards 2024, Radial Carcass offers a revolutionary experience for MTB riders.
The term “radial” refers to the arrangement of the tire casing threads. This innovation uses a more obtuse angle, resulting in a larger contact patch compared to traditional tires. The tire deforms more easily upon contact with the ground, providing an exciting advancement for cyclists.
Trusted as one of a brand that competes in World Cup, Schwalbe ensures their tires’ durability and puncture resistance remain top-notch. The Albert Trail, Magic Mary, and Shredda tire lineups showcase drew plenty of attention from enthusiasts. A big thank you to all the riders who stopped by the Rodalink booth!

Believing that excitement should be shared, two young riders were selected to receive free entries to the Singapore Open Enduro. Haziq and Ben chose the Polygon Siskiu series as their trusted companions for the race. Despite it being his first race, Ben secured P4 in the Male U-17 category! His determination to conquer the Seven Drops section left a lasting impression on spectators. It was a truly memorable save of the day!
Special mention goes to our Arfan Faisal, who rocked his journey with his Polygon Syncline C5 and securing P3 in the Man Open category. Happy to see Polygon and Marin riders on the day!
A heartfelt thank you to the crew who ensured the event ran smoothly. Your dedication and passion for the sport are truly inspiring. Thank you for the memories, SOE 2025!
