Previously spotted being used by five athletes in local competitions across Singapore, this eye- catching bike has now arrived at Rodalink Singapore. Let’s get to know the vibrant and agile orange marvel: the Polygon Helios Road Bike Podium Performance Special Edition!
Supporting Local Athletes
We believe that success stems from unwavering dedication, a love for the process, and the courage to #LeadYourOwnPath. In collaboration with a local sports scientist who have trained multiple National Champions in Singapore, Polygon and Rodalink Singapore has partnered with Podium Performance for the Podium Decentralized Project.
This initiative aims to empower local athletes to fully explore their potential while continuing to contribute to their respective clubs. Currently, five promising athletes are part of the program, with numerous achievements at various local competitions to their credit.
About the Bike: A Fusion of Art and Science
Showcasing a striking combination of orange, red, and green hues with a crystal-effect pattern developed by Polygon’s R&D team, this road bike frame is the choice of elite and aspiring athletes in the program. The color palette is inspired by heart rate zone graphs often used to evaluate athlete performance.
The Polygon logo encapsulates the belief in individual potential, represented by six animal characters:
- Cheetah (Sprinter)
- Piranha (Puncher)
- Dolphin (Pursuit)
- Goat (Climber)
- Horse (Time Trialist)
- Dragon (All-rounder)
What the Riders Say About the Helios
Since adopting the Helios this year, here are some testimonials from riders who have raced with it:
“The Polygon Helios has blown away any expectations that I had for it. Its’s aggressive yet compliant geometry allows me to sprint through corners confidently and ride long hours with ease. It is a bike that is jam- packed with quality and value and I thoroughly enjoy and appreciate every time I get to ride it.” – Arfan Faisal
“The Polygon Helios has proven to be incredibly versatile, excelling in stage races like those I recently did in Chiangmai and Yunnan, as well as fast crits in Singapore. Its lightweight frame made climbing easier, while its stiffness and handling were perfect for cornering and sprinting. With its smooth, responsive ride, the Helios makes every ride so enjoyable that it inspires me to get out and ride even more.” – Dalvin Koh
“To be a top amateur racer, man and machine must be bonded. I’ve won a few road races and time trials this year. Bicycle responsiveness is everything to me.
When Helios is presented to me, I fell in love with the agility and power transfer after the first ride and ultimately make us the TriFactor champion on this September 2024!” – Desmond Lee
“After using the Polygon Helios, I am in awe by how impressive it is in terms of comfort, stiffness, and responsiveness. Being a user of several other bike brands, I can say this is the ultimate value- for- money road machine either for the road racers, budding amateurs, or KOM hunters.
In addition, the Polygon Helios offers much more operability and flexibility than other brands thus allowing you to build the ultimate bike in your image.” – Jason Png
“The Polygon Helios is a great all-rounder. It’s super comfortable, even on long rides, and the aero design really helps with speed. What’s awesome is that it doesn’t sacrifice weight, so it still can climb very well. It’s a solid bike for any kind of ride.” – Clara Patricia
This road bike is more than just a special edition—it’s a celebration of the idea that everyone has the potential to become their best in this sport.
